Profile
Zinejda is a commercial litigation associate with experience in the private and public sectors. Prior to joining the firm, Zinejda was counsel with the Ministry of the Attorney General. She received her JD from Osgoode Hall Law School. While at law school, Zinejda worked for Parkdale Community Legal Services, the International Development Research Centre and as a legal researcher with the Society of Ontario Adjudicators and Regulators. She also contributed articles to theCourt.ca and the Property Lawyer Quarterly.
Before law school, Zinejda worked for one of the major Canadian banks and as Director of Policy and Regional Media at the Ontario Legislature, where she worked closely with business groups. Zinejda received a BA (Honours) at the University of Toronto and an MA from the Munk School for Global Affairs, University of Toronto.
Zinejda serves as the Vice Chair of the Board of Directors of Newcomer Women’s Services Toronto, as volunteer mock adjudicator for Matthew House. She is a member of the Ontario Bar Association, the Advocates’ Society and Young Women in Law. Zinejda is fluent in Italian, Albanian and French.
