Profile

Adrienne Zaya is a litigation associate at Weintraub Erskine Huang LLP. Adrienne’s practice focuses on complex commercial litigation, including contractual disputes, shareholder remedies and insurance disputes, as well as employment law and human rights matters. She has appeared as lead counsel before all levels of court in Ontario. Her experience includes successfully arguing contractual issues before the Court of Appeal for Ontario and obtaining urgent injunctive relief before the Ontario Superior Court of Justice.

Prior to joining the firm, Adrienne completed her articles at a leading global law firm where she developed experience in a broad range of commercial, civil, administrative, and regulatory matters. During her articles, Adrienne assisted on shareholder and contractual disputes, commercial arbitrations, and other matters before the Ontario Superior Court of Justice, Divisional Court, and Human Rights Tribunal of Ontario.

Adrienne obtained her law degree from the University of Kent, where she received multiple awards for her academic achievement and successful participation in various negotiation competitions. During her time as a law student, she interned at a renowned law firm in Kent.

Adrienne is a member of The Advocates’ Society, the Ontario Bar Association and the Canadian Bar Association, and volunteers regularly at Pro Bono Ontario to assist low-income clients facing legal issues.
