Profile
Sara is a partner at Weintraub Erskine Huang LLP. Sara’s practice is focused on commercial disputes, bankruptcy and insolvency, receiverships, proceedings under the Companies’ Creditors Arrangement Act (CCAA), securities law, labour and employment law, administrative law, constitutional law and class action litigation.
Sara has appeared as counsel before all levels of court in Ontario and the Supreme Court of Canada. She also regularly represents clients before regulatory tribunals including the Ontario Securities Commission, Investment Industry Regulatory Organization of Canada (IIROC) and a broad range of professional disciplinary tribunals.
Sara publishes papers in the area of securities law and class action litigation. She is frequently invited to speak at legal conferences. In addition, Sara routinely presents to industry associations on managing the business risks associated with civil and employment disputes, and securities regulation.
Sara is a member of the Ontario, Canadian and American Bar Associations. Since being called to the bar, she has continually participated in the education and development of future legal professionals by lecturing and mentoring at George Brown College, Osgoode Hall Law School and the University of Toronto Law School.
